July 10: Concert Time

Tonight, Underground Praise (the Christian rock band for which I play keyboard) is giving a free community concert.  There is no admission fee, but we are collecting food items for the local food pantry.  The concert is outdoors, and the weather promises to be great--in the low 70s.  I can't think of a better way to spend an evening.

Bring a chair or blanket.  Bring your family.  Bring a canned good (if you want).  Come and listen to some good music.  We're doing songs by The Manhattan Transfer and Leonard Cohen and Joan Osbourne and Charlie Hall and Bill Withers and Todd Agnew and Casting Crowns and...I could go on, but I'm sure you don't want me to.  If you're not familiar with these artists, you're in for a big treat.

So if you're in the Marquette area this evening, swing by downtown Negaunee, Michigan, around 7 p.m.  We'll be down at the end of Iron Street.

Saint Marty will be the one jamming behind the keys and looking pretty cool.

We sort of sound this good.  Sort of.
